A Competition Licence is a requirement for all who wish to compete in an organised Motorcycle Race.

As part of the process, All new licence applicants are required to attend two compulsory track 

assessments days, plus complete all online or in person induction sessions.

Fees and Payment Section

 The fee is £260 which includes the Introduction evening, zoom sessions,  

mcui courses (online), and two days of track assessments.

INTRODUCTION EVENING

Introduction Evening Wednesday 31st January 2024 @ 7.30pm 

Venue: Dunsilly Hotel, 20 Dunsilly Rd, Antrim BT41 2JH. Laburnum Room 1 

At the introduction you will be provided with details of all online Zoom training sessions,  

MCUICOURSES which must be completed between 1st February and 23rd February details 

TRACK SESSIONS

First Track Session, Kirkistown, Saturday 24th February 2024 (compulsory) 

Scrutineering and Signing on will be from 8am to 10am. 

Second Track Session, Kirkistown, Saturday 2nd March 2024 (compulsory) 

Scrutineering and Signing on will be from 8am to 10am.

CAPACITIES & LICENCING RESTRICTIONS within the MCUI (UC) Ltd

Age Licence Machine/Class

12 years Novice-National ‘SC’ MCUI UC Moto-One machines (Tianda/125 Aprilia/Kawasaki 250 Ninja)

13 years Novice-National ‘SC’ as above + Moto 3 subject to having competed in Moto-One for a season

14 years Novice-National ‘SC’ Classes up to SS300 machines, Moto3 machines and Lightweight 

Supersport 400 machines

15 years Novice-National ‘SC’ For Classes upto 650cc single or twin cylinder production based machines

(Production Twins) and 250ccGP subject to the following:

• Must have competed for a season on machines eligible for 14 year olds

• Must be approved to ride in these events by Ulster Centre Tarmac Committee as appropriate.

15 years Any Sidecar passengers

16 years Novice-National ‘SC’ All classes upto Supersport, Pre injection, Supertwins, Classic machines 

only up to 350cc

18 years Novice-National ‘SC’ Any class

Fully Completed Registration Form to be forwarded to MCUI (UC) Honorary Licence Register
